About the Collections

The collections in this guide cover the lives of Asian American communities. Some of the topics covered are race relations of various immigrant Asian communities, the lives of trail blazers such as Anna May Wong, and the popular uprisings during the Civil Rights movement. Many of these collections are transcripts, correspondence, letters, photography, audio recordings, and other materials. Regardless of the individual's expertise, these collections will help provide greater context about the history surrounding the various Asian American communities in the United States.
