Bellantoni (Natale) papers: Writings, correspondence, printed matter, sketches, paintings, photographs, other audiovisual material, and memorabilia relating to American military construction activities in the Pacific Theater during World War II.

HISTORIES:

Battalion Artist Online Exhibition: Embark on a unique journey of discovery through the Pacific theater of World War II with Natale Bellantoni, a US Navy Seabee known as the battalion artist of the 78th.


          

Herron (Edwin Eugene) Drawings: Original line drawings appearing as illustrations in Intercontinental Press, a journal published in New York from 1963 to 1986 on behalf of the United Secretariat of the Fourth International. Working under the name Copain, Herron satirically caricatured contemporary world leaders and other public figures. The drawings are undated but are predominantly or entirely from the late 1960s and from the 1970s.

Longstreet (Stephen) paintings and drawings, 1927-1986: Depicts scenes from World War II and the Vietnamese War, and portrays twentieth-century celebrities from various countries and fields of endeavor. Three works from the collection are featured above.

Beaumont (Arthur) papers, 1908-2019: Arthur Beaumont was a Lieutenant in the United States Naval Reserve and official artist of the United States Fleet. During World War II, he was a war artist and documented naval battles. The collection includes documents, photographs, and artwork.

Conspiracy : the artist as witness : printed portfolio, 1971: Portfolio of limited edition art prints by Alexander Calder, Larry Poons, Jack Beal, Romare Bearden, Leon Golub, Nancy Spero, Robert Morris, Peter Saul, Raphael Soyer, Frank Stella, Claes Oldenburg, Bridget Riley, and Sol Lewitt.

Hoover (Lou Henry) miscellaneous papers, 1820-1984: The Lou Henry Hoover Collection preserves selected items associated with the life of First Lady Lou Henry Hoover, the wife of Herbert Hoover, 31st president of the United States. Contains a portfolio of reproductions of drawings of Spanish missions in California, 1933; and sketches of the White House, Capitol Building, Washington Monument, and Mount Vernon.

Knowles Augustus Ryerson collection, 1918-1919: Pamphlets, newspaper and magazine issues, and other printed matter, illustrating World War I humor through cartoons and caricatures.

Saito (Siberius Y.) drawings, 1942: Photographic copies of sketches depicting the physical facilities at the Tanforan Assembly Center. Saito was a Japanese-American architect and evacuee at Tanforan Assembly Center, California, 1942.
